Our practice is involved in the training of of Doctors in the Specialist Training Years 1 - 3.  These are fully qualified Doctors with extensive hospital experience and now specialising in General Practice.

ST1s, ST2s and ST3s are the same grade of Doctor you would encounter in Hospital Wards such as A&E and Out Patient Clinics.

ST1's work in the practice for 6 months normally from February - August.  ST3s work for a period of 12 months from August.

ST2s are work in other areas outside the practice such as A&E or with Mental Health Services.

The Partners of the practice are all trainers and provide tutorials on a regular basis.

Having trainee GPs working with us on a regular basis, provides a fresh approach to the ever changing environment and allows the whole practice team to benefit from having a Doctor that has recent experience in a hospital environment.

Occasionally the Trainees will ask to video their consultations.  This is an invaluable learning tool and allows Hospital Doctors to improve their training as Specialist General Practitioners.

We will only film consultations with a patient's consent and your details will be treated in the strictest of confidence as always.
